This website is a project of the heart.
The CUBErider Website is - as the name suggests - meant to be a great site about us and our tours with our e-bikes. It is the platform for us to take our friends and family, but also anyone who is interested, along on our journey. And such a project always starts with an idea.
In the blog you will be able to follow us on our journey. We will describe where we drove from, where we stayed, what we experienced and much more. Here you will not only find posts about the tour itself, but also a lot of information about the background, useful tips and tricks and everything about the preparations.
But now let's get down to the nitty-gritty.
We bought e-bikes in October 2020 and immediately fell in love with the idea of doing a longer tour with these bikes. And a longer tour should not mean two or three days. No, it should be a cycling trip that may last weeks or months.
That may sound pretty crazy at first, but it's not. Sure, we still have to prepare and check a few things before we can start, but basically nothing stands in the way of such an undertaking. You just have to do it!
Since we have no time pressure and Corona is keeping us from travelling at the moment anyway, we can research, read and plan at our leisure. A website like this and the blog that goes with it don't come into being overnight either, and they keep me especially busy.
Why actually CUBErider?
The bikes we finally decided on are from the CUBE brand. It was quickly clear to us that we wanted to record such a great trip in a blog and needed a name. So it was obvious to us to associate the name with our great bikes. And so the name CUBErider was born. This also required the Domain and voila, that's how CUBErider.de and the associated blog came into being. Everything starts with an idea, the question is what to do with it.
